Installation with sculptures (steel, plastic, textile, MDF), drawings and their stands, pipes, cans, acrylic paint. Variable dimensions.
The vast installation is the aesthetic manifestation of a search for a “hygienic bio-design”, tinged with humor and irony. This artificial nature is presented as the product of laboratory experiments, carefully handcrafted. Each of the vegetal elements is precisely marked and numbered; the stylized plant objects appear to be fed by a white liquid via an irrigation system made of pipes and labeled cans. Not far from this dense ensemble, drawings on their stands give an overview of the production process: the patterns of the parts of plants and the technical details of the structures are represented on a 1:1 scale, in the manner of botanical boards or technical drawings.

Die raumgreifende Skulptureninstallation ist ein ironisch-lustiger Versuch eines „aseptischen Bio-Designs“. Eine künstliche Natur als Produkt von Laborexperimenten, sorgfältig handgefertigt, wird auf jedem einzelnen pflanzlichen Element präzis nummeriert und gekennzeichnet. Die stilisierten Pflanzenobjekte scheinen aus Kanistern mit einer weißen Flüssigkeit genährt zu werden. Die an Ständern hängenden Zeichnungen geben Einblick in den Produktionsprozess: sie zeigen die Schnittmuster der Pflanzenteile im Maßstab 1:1 und die technischen Details der Strukturen, und erinnern an botanische Tafeln oder technische Diagramme.

L’installation est, sur un vaste espace, la manifestation esthétique d’une recherche de «bio-design aseptisé», teintée d’humour et d’ironie. Cette nature artificielle se présente comme le produit d’expérimentations en laboratoire, soigneusement travaillé. Chacun des éléments végétaux est précisément marqué et numéroté ; les objets-plantes stylisés paraissent alimentés par un liquide blanc via un système d’irrigation fait de tuyaux et bidons étiquetés. Non loin de cet ensemble touffu, des dessins pendus à leur support donnent un aperçu du processus de production : y sont tracés les patrons des parties de plantes, à l’échelle 1:1, et les détails techniques des structures, à la manière de planches botaniques ou de schémas techniques.
